Hancock Park Spring Home Tour
On Sunday, April 19, the American Institute of Architects Los Angeles will hold the first-ever Spring Home Tour of freshly renovated traditional Hancock Park residences. This self-guided tour focuses on revitalized homes, from pure Italianate to Provençal, brought back to their original models and structures from the 1920s and '30s with contemporary amenities and a modern taste for today’s comfort. As with all restorations, including the N. McCadden residence, architects faced a weighty history of ill-fated and unfortunate remodeling mishaps from the '50s and '60s, yet overcame the challenges to transform the residence into an inspiring French-Mediterranean style. The renovation results best extenuate the rich architectural history of this exclusive urban neighborhood. The home tour is from 11am to 4pm. For more information, please contact Haily Zaki at 323-663-0007 Secret Agent PR or visit aialosangeles.com for ticket purchases.
