Green With Glamour’s Pop-Up Shop Launch Party

On Thursday, November 5th, Green With Glamour launches its first pop up shop in fashion-forward, Silver Lake. The online resource for sustainable, eco-friendly designs opens its doors to all supporters of green living, offering 20% off in-shop and online purchases to all guests. Items showcased include pieces from eco-friendly designers like Binth, Popomomo and Kirsten Muenster, among others. The shop will be open through November 15.

Artemide & Rezek Warehouse Sale

LAA Open Studios on Oct. 17-18, 2009

This is no ordinary Sunday drive! On Oct. 17-18, the Lamorinda Arts Association hosts a self-guided driving tour to over 30 artists’ studios in Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda. The event will kick off with a reception Fri., Oct. 16, 5-7 p.m., at the Moraga Gallery, where visitors can preview LAA artists’ photographs, paintings, sculptures and other artworks. Pick up a map of the studios that will be open for the weekend at the reception or print your own at the LAA Open Studios blog. From landscape paintings of Lafayette’s bucolic hills to humorous, welded iron sculptures to abstract photographs, the artwork in Lamorinda is as diverse as the three dozen artists who will participate. LAA Open Studios is free and open to everyone. Light refreshments will be available at some studios, and artists will have their work for sale.
